It's nice they have a basketball court, baseball field that serves food, a fishing spot, picnic area and fishing. Also has restrooms and vending machine available. But it doesn't have playground equipment for everyone to play on.
Great place to park and hit the Greenway on your bike. There's hiking trails in the woods nearby and kids also enjoy the nature center when it's open (usually weekends).
Great place to walk the dog, bring your own bag for cleanup! Nice little pond and paths through the woods. Frisbee golf course. Connects to the greenway.
For a tiny park, the staff is knowledgeable and informative! We spent quite some time here over the last year doing the nature classes. Pond dipping, leaf identification, dissection of mushrooms, flowers, and even owl pellets! Lots of hands on fun at the Nature Center!
Love the disc golf course. If you Are a frisbee golfer from the area or from out of state, this is a must to go to.
